DTC Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT AND FUEL PUMP (FUEL LEVEL SENSOR) (MAIN) CIRCUIT 
      1. Ignition switch OFF.
      2. Disconnect combination meter harness connector and fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (fuel level sensor) (main) harness connector.
      3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (fuel level sensor) (main) harness connector.
        Combination meter Fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (fuel level sensor) (main) Continuity
        Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
        M77 54 M195 3 Yes
      4. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.
        Combination meter - Continuity
        Connector Terminal
        M77 54 Ground No

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO>>

    Repair harness or connector.

  2. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT AND FUEL PUMP (FUEL LEVEL SENSOR) (MAIN) GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Check continuity between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (fuel level sensor) (main) harness connector and combination meter harness connector.
      Fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (fuel level sensor) (main) Combination meter Continuity
      Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
      M195 2 M77 46 Yes

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO>>

    Repair harness or connector.
