POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Harness or connector
- ADAS control unit
- Chassis control module
FAIL-SAFE
The following functions are suspended:
- ADAS function (function of ADAS control unit or ADAS control unit 2)
- Active trace control function (function of chassis control module)
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- PRECONDITIONING
- If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always place the ignition switch in the OFF position and wait at least 10 minutes for ABS motor temperature reduction before conducting the next test.

- CHECK DTC DETECTION
CONSULT
- Ignition switch OFF.NOTE:
Wait at least 10 seconds after placing the ignition switch to OFF.
- Start the engine.NOTE:
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ABS".
- Ignition switch OFF.
Is DTC "C1A71-08" or "C1A71-61" detected?
YES-1>>
"CRNT" is displayed: Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure .
YES-2>>
"PAST" is displayed: Inspection End (Erase "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ABS".)
NO-1>>
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .
NO-2>>
Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
