DTC DETECTION LOGIC

DTC No.	CONSULT screen item(Trouble diagnosis content)	DTC detected condition
C1116-01	STOP LAMP SW(Stop lamp switch)	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON. When power supply voltage is normal.
		Signal (terminal)	Stop lamp switch signal
		Threshold	When a malfunction is detected in stop lamp switch signal.
		Diagnosis delay time	1 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

NOTE:

Confirm if DTC is PAST or CRNT. If DTC is CRNT, proceed with Diagnosis Procedure. If DTC is PAST, clear DTC. Do not replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) for a PAST DTC.

The following functions are suspended:

VDC function
TCS function
Brake assist function
Brake force distribution function
Hill start assist function
Active trace control function (control of chassis control module)
Active ride control function (control of chassis control module)

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PRECONDITIONING
1. If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always place the ignition switch in the OFF position and wait at least 10 minutes for ABS motor temperature reduction before conducting the next test.

CHECK DTC DETECTION
1. CONSULT
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
    NOTE: Wait at least 10 seconds after placing the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Start the engine.
    NOTE: Wait at least 10 seconds after start the engine.
  3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ABS".
Is DTC "C1116-01" detected?

YES-1>>

"CRNT" is displayed: Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure .

YES-2>>

"PAST" is displayed: Inspection End (Erase "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ABS".)

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
