Diagnosis Procedure

NOTE: SYMBOL Do not disconnect the battery negative terminal and the driver seat control unit connector until DTC is confirmed with CONSULT.
  1. CHECK FUSIBLE LINK 
    1. Check that the following fusible link is not blown:
      Signal name Fusible link No. Capacity
      Battery power supply I 40 A

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO>>

    Replace the blown fusible link after repairing the affected circuit.

  2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
      1. Ignition switch OFF.
      2. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector.
      3. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
        (+) (-) Power source Condition Voltage(Approx.)
        Driver seat control unit
        Connector Terminal
        M553 37 Ground Battery power supply Ignition switch OFF Battery voltage

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 3.

    NO>>

    Check the following:

    • Repair or replace harness.
    • Circuit breaker-2.
  3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Check continuity between the driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
      Driver seat control unit - Continuity
      Connector Terminal
      M553 39 Ground Yes

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    Inspection End.

    NO>>

    Repair or replace harness.
