CONSULT Function (E-HUD)

CONSULT FUNCTIONS 

CONSULT performs the following functions via CAN communication with the AV control unit.

Direct Diagnostic Mode	Description
ECU Identification	The head up display unit part number is displayed.
Self Diagnostic Result	The head up display unit self diagnostic results are displayed.
Data Monitor	The head up display unit input/output data is displayed in real time.
Work support	The settings for head up display unit functions can be changed.
Configuration	The vehicle specification can be read and saved. The vehicle specification can be written when replacing head up display unit.
CAN Diag Support Mntr	The result of transmit/receive diagnosis of AV communication is displayed. The result of transmit/receive diagnosis of CAN communication is displayed.

ECU IDENTIFICATION 

The part number of head up display unit is displayed.

DATA MONITOR 

Monitor Item [Unit]	Description
Battery Voltage [V]	Indicates voltage of battery power supply.
Main switch [On/Off]	Indicates condition of ITS switch assembly (head up display switch).
Auto ACC status [On/Off]	Indicates auto ACC signal status received from BCM on CAN communication line.
Ignition status [On/Off]	Indicates ignition signal status received from IPDM E/R on CAN communication line.
Shutdown status [Normal]	Indicates head up display shutdown status.
Mirror status [Open/Close]	Indicates head up display open/close status.
Display status [Sleep/On]	Indicates head up display on/off status.
Display protection status [On/Off]	Indicates head up display protection status.
Login user No. [User4/User3/User2/User1]	Indicates which user is logged in.
Login condition [On/Off]	Indicates login status of user.
Day night status [Day/Night]	Indicates condition of illumination signal received from combination meter on CAN communication line.
Illumination control condition [Inactive/%]	Indicates condition of illumination signal received from combination meter on CAN communication line.
Display brightness [-10 to +10]	Indicates condition of display brightness setting received from integral switch on AV communication line.
Main switch status [On/Off]	Indicates On/Off condition of head up display system.
Reset complete signal [numerical]	Indicates number of times head up display settings have been reset.
Display up and down status [-10 to +10]	Indicates condition of display up and down setting received from integral switch on AV communication line.
Display rotation status [-10 to +10]	Indicates condition of display rotation setting received from integral switch on AV communication line.
TBT display status [On/Off]	Indicates Navigation On/Off status received from integral switch on AV communication line.
TBT availability [available/unavailable]	Indicates turn by turn navigation display availability received from AV control unit and combination meter on AV communication line.
TSR display status [On/Off]	Indicates Speed Limit Sign On/Off status received from integral switch on AV communication line.
TSR availability [available/unavailable]	Indicates traffic sign recognition display availability received from lane camera unit on CAN communication line.
Driving assist display status [On/Off]	Indicates Driving Aids On/Off status received from integral switch on AV communication line.
Driving assist availability [available/unavailable]	Indicates ProPILOT Assist display availability received from ADAS control unit on CAN communication line.

WORK SUPPORT 

Distortion calibration work support is used during "Calibration of Head Up Display." Refer to Description .
