Work Procedure

SELECT A PROPER WORKSPACE
1. Park the vehicle in a space at least 6.56 feet' (2000 mm) wide by 6.56 feet' (2000 mm) tall by 16.40 feet' (5000 mm) long.

GO TO 2.

MARK THE CENTER OF THE AXLES

Place markings at the center of the axles.

Place marking tape as shown in the illustration:

Label the marking tape "a" (right rear axle), "b" (right front axle), "c" (left rear axle) and "d" (left front axle)

GO TO 3.

SET UP THE TARGET BOARD

Place a strip of tape on each side of the vehicle 13.12 feet' (4000 mm) long from the center of the rear axles forward, "a" through "b" and "c" through "d".

Place a mark "e" and "f" on each strip of tape 5.02 feet' (1530 mm) from the center of the front axles. Place a strip of tape from "e" to "f".

Place a target board on the strip of tape from "e" to "f".

GO TO 4.

PREPARE THE TARGET BOARD

Create a target sheet 8.86 inches (225 mm) wide by 4.13 inches (105 mm) high, with an inner dimension white area of 8.07 inches (205 mm) wide by 3.35 inches (85 mm) high.

Place the target sheet created in step 1 on the target board 3.50 feet (1070 mm) from the floor. Position the target board so that the center of the target sheet is 1.84 feet (560 mm) from the left side strip of tape.

GO TO 5.

ADJUST THE DRIVER SEAT
1. - Move the driver seat to the maximum forward position.
  - Raise the driver seat to the maximum upper position.
  - Move the driver seatback to the maximum forward position.
  - Raise the driver seat headrest to the maximum upper position.

GO TO 6.
SELECT HEAD UP DISPLAY SETTINGS
1. 1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Press the "Menu" button on the Integral switch to launch the "APPS" menu.
  3. Select "Settings", then "Head Up Display".

GO TO 7.

CORRECT THE CENTER POSITION

CONSULT

Select "Distortion calibration" in "Work support" mode of "E-HUD", then select "Start".

From the left rear seating position behind the driver seat, view the target sheet looking through the area between the driver seatback and the headrest.
