Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check that the following fuse is not blown:

   Terminal No.	Signal name	Fuse No.	Capacity
   12	IGN power supply	55	5A

Is the fuse blown?

YES>>

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect sonar control unit connector.
   3. Check voltage between sonar control unit connector and ground.

      Sonar control unit		Ground	Condition	Voltage(Approx.)

      M268	12	-	Ignition switch: ON	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Check continuity between sonar control unit connector and ground.

      Sonar control unit		Ground	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      M268	15	-	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connectors.
