Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector E152
- Harness connector M31
Is the inspection result normal?
>>
GO TO 2.
>>
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)
- Harness connectors E152 and M31
- Check the continuity between the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector and the harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
>>
GO TO 3.
>>
Repair the main line between the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) and the harness connector E152.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the connector of steering angle sensor.
- Check the continuity between the harness connector and the steering angle sensor harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
>>
Check CAN system type decision again.
>>
Error was detected in the main line between the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) and the steering angle sensor.
>>
Repair the main line between the harness connector M31 and steering angle sensor.
