Diagnosis Procedure
- CONNECTOR INSPECTION
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the terminals and connectors of the 6CH CAN gateway for damage, bend and loose connection (unit side and connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?
>>
GO TO 2.
>>
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the connector of 6CH CAN gateway.
- Check the continuity between the 6CH CAN gateway harness connector terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
>>
GO TO 3.
>>
Check the harness and repair or replace the root cause.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (SHORT CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect all the unit connectors on diagnostic CAN communication circuit.
- Check the continuity between the 6CH CAN gateway harness connector terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
>>
GO TO 4.
>>
Check the harness and repair or replace the root cause.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (SHORT CIRCUIT)
Check the continuity between the 6CH CAN gateway harness connector and the ground.

GO TO 5.
>>
Check the harness and repair or replace the root cause.
- CHECK 6CH CAN GATEWAY TERMINATION CIRCUIT
- Remove the 6CH CAN gateway.
- Check the resistance between the 6CH CAN gateway terminals.

Is the measurement value within the specification?
>>
Perform CAN diagnosis again.
>>
Replace the 6CH CAN gateway.
