Diagnosis Procedure

Check steering switch circuit. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure (B221A) or DTC Diagnosis Procedure (B221B).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

Repair or replace harness or connector.

Check steering switch resistance. Refer to Component Inspection (B221A) or Component Inspection (B221B).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Replace steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Check combination switch (spiral cable) for continuity. Refer to Component Inspection (B221A) or Component Inspection (B221B).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation .
