Component Inspection

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect parking brake switch harness connector.
3. Check continuity between parking brake switch terminal and ground.

   Parking brake switch	--	Condition	Continuity
   Terminal
   1	Ground	When parking brake switch is pressed	Existed
   		When parking brake switch is released	Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

Replace parking brake switch. Refer to PARKING BRAKE CONTROL : Removal & Installation .
