Removal and Installation: Removal

Remove steering column cover screw finishers (4) using a suitable tool, then remove screws.

NOTE:
- Steering wheel removed for clarity.
- If necessary, rotate steering wheel to access steering column cover screw finishers and screws.
Using a suitable tool, release pawls and remove steering column upper cover (1).
Remove steering column lower cover (3).
Disconnect the harness connector from the ADP steering switch [2 (if equipped)].
If necessary, remove ADP steering switch.
