Diagnosis Procedure

If any of the following malfunctions is found for the steering switch operation.

• All switches are inoperative
• The specified switch cannot be operated

1. CHECK STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL A CIRCUIT 

   Check the steering switch signal A circuit. Refer to Component Function Check .

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   GO TO 2.

   NO

   Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

2. PERFORM STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL B CIRCUIT 

   Check the steering switch signal B circuit. Refer to Component Function Check .

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   Replace combination meter. Refer to COMBINATION METER : Removal & Installation .

   NO

   Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
