REAR FINAL DRIVE SIDE OIL SEAL : Removal & Installation: Removal

Remove final drive assembly. Refer to REAR FINAL DRIVE ASSEMBLY : Unit Removal & Installation .
NOTE: It is necessary to remove final drive assembly to remove the rear drive shaft.
Remove side oil seal, using oil seal remover (commercial service tool).
CAUTION: Never damage gear carrier.
