Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect electronic stability program control unit harness connector.
3. Check the voltage between electronic stability program control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Check the 40A fuse (#237).
3. Check the 5A fuse (#218).
4. Check the 25A fuse (#204).
5. Check the 5A fuse (#230).
6. Disconnect fuse and fusible link block 1 harness connector.
7. Check the continuity between electronic stability program control unit harness connector and fuse and fusible link block 1 harness connector.

8. Check the continuity between electronic stability program control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Perform trouble diagnosis for battery power supply.

NO

Repair / replace harness, connector, or fuse.

Check the continuity between electronic stability program control unit harness connector and the ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair / replace harness, connector, or terminal.

1. Check the electronic stability program control unit pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
2. Check the fuse and fusible link block 1 pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace the electronic stability program control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

Repair / replace harness, connector, or terminal.
