Diagnosis Procedure

Perform each inspection according to the displayed DTC.

Which DTC is displayed?

GO TO 3.

B173D-15

GO TO 2.

1. Select "Work Support" mode of "Left front door control unit" using CONSULT.
2. Select "Door module service fix", and then touch "Start".

INSPECTION END

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect left front door control unit and door mirror LH connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

   Left front door control unit		Ground	Continuity

   D11	9		Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between left front door control unit harness connector and door mirror LH harness connector.

   Left front door control unit		Door mirror LH		Continuity

   D11	9	D42	2	Existed

2. Check voltage between left front door control unit harness connector and ground.

   Left front door control unit

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Connect left front door control unit and door mirror LH connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "Left front door control unit" using CONSULT.
4. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .

Is DTC detected?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

INSPECTION END

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Replace side turn signal LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "Left front door control unit" using CONSULT.
5. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .

Is DTC detected?

YES

Replace left front door control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

INSPECTION END
