Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK HI-MOUNTED STOP LAMP SIGNAL CIRCUIT 1
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect following connectors.
- Hi-mounted stop lamp
- Condenser
- BCM
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

GO TO 5.
NO
Replace condenser.
- ERASE DTC
- Connect following connectors.
- Hi-mounted stop lamp
- Condenser
- BCM
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM" using CONSULT.
- Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .
Is DTC detected?
YES
GO TO 6.
NO
INSPECTION END
- Connect following connectors.
- REPLACE HI-MOUNTED STOP LAMP AND ERASE DTC
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Replace hi-mounted stop lamp. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM" using CONSULT.
- Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .
Is DTC detected?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
