Diagnosis Procedure

Perform each inspection according to the displayed DTC.

Which DTC is displayed?

GO TO 3.

B173D-15

GO TO 2.

1. Select "Work Support" mode of "Right front door control unit" using CONSULT.
2. Select "Door module service fix", and then touch "Start".

INSPECTION END

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect right front door control unit and door mirror RH connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

   Right front door control unit		Ground	Continuity

   D54	9		Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between right front door control unit harness connector and door mirror RH harness connector.

   Right front door control unit		Door mirror RH		Continuity

   D54	9	D92	2	Existed

2. Check voltage between right front door control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Connect right front door control unit and door mirror RH connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "Right front door control unit" using CONSULT.
4. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .

Is DTC detected?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

INSPECTION END

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Replace side turn signal lamp RH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "Right front door control unit" using CONSULT.
5. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .

Is DTC detected?

YES

Replace right front door control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

INSPECTION END
