Method Of Starting
- Turn the ignition switch ACC.
- Select "Trip" menu.
- Keep pressing the
switch
and OK switch
for 3 seconds or more.
- The display in the information display changes to the on-board diagnosis. It is possible to scroll between the respective menus and submenus or through the different lists by pressing the scroll forward/back switch. Selection is then made by pressing the OK switch.
The steering wheel electronics read in the control signals from the steering switch directly and sends them to the steering column control module. The steering column control module sends them over the CAN communication and the electronic ignition lock control unit to the combination meter.
