Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove tires with power tool. Refer to Exploded View .
  2. Remove wheel sensor harness from shock absorber. Refer to Removal and Installation .
    CAUTION: Never pull on wheel sensor harness.
  3. Remove brake hose mounting nut, and separate brake hose from shock absorber. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove stabilizer connecting rod from transverse link. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Separate upper link from steering knuckle. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  6. Remove shock absorber mounting bracket mounting nuts, and remove shock absorber assembly.
