Removal and Installation: Removal
CAUTION:
Never damage or scratch engine cover when installing or removing.
- Remove engine cover mounting bolts.
- Remove fixed pins of the engine cover in the order from 1 to 2 as shown in the figure below, to remove the engine cover (1).

CAUTION:- When detaching, hold the engine cover nearby the fixing point, and remove the pins one by one.
- Never damage or scratch cover when installing or removing.
- Observe the following instructions. Violation of this may cause damage to the engine cover.
- Remove bracket (rear), refer to following.
- Remove engine harness mounting bolt, and disconnect engine harness clip.
- Disconnect MAP sensor harness connector and EVAP canister purge control solenoid valve harness connector.
- Move engine harness, and remove bracket (rear) mounting bolt.
- Remove bracket (rear).
