Diagnosis Procedure
- PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
WITH CONSULT
- Perform "All DTC Reading" with CONSULT.
- Check if the DTC is detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" of "EV/HEV" or "MOTOR CONTROL".NOTE:
Some HPCM DTCs may be detected as a result of the detection of P0ABF by LBC. If a DTC detected by HPCM is applicable to the above mentioned DTCs, then judge that DTCs are not detected by HPCM.
Refer to INDEX OF HPCM-DETECTED DTC for details.
Is DTC detected?
YES
Perform diagnosis procedure of applicable system.
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- PRECONDITIONINGWARNING:
Shut off high voltage circuit. Refer to HOW TO DISCONNECT HIGH VOLTAGE .
Remove Li-ion battery. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
GO TO STEP 3 .
- CHECK CURRENT SENSOR HARNESS
- Disconnect battery junction box harness connector.
- Disconnect Li-ion battery controller harness connector.
- Check continuity between battery junction box (current sensor) harness connector and Li-ion battery controller harness connector.

YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK CURRENT SENSOR
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Replace battery junction box (current sensor). Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
- CHECK RESISTANCE OF LI-ION BATTERY CONTROLLER
Check resistance between Li-ion battery controller terminals.
Li-ion battery controller Resistance Connector Terminal Connector Terminal LB1 10 LB1 15 Approx. 4.7 kΩ Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace Li-ion battery controller (Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY ) and battery junction box (Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY ).
NO
Replace Li-ion battery controller. Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
