Diagnosis Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Infiniti Q50. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the 12V battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector T21
- Harness connector B75
- Harness connector B62
- Harness connector M22
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminals and connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- ADAS control unit
- Harness connectors T21 and B75
- Check the continuity between the ADAS control unit harness connector and the harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Replace the tail harness.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the harness connectors B62 and M22.
- Check the continuity between the harness connectors terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Replace the body No. 2 harness.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the steering force control module harness connector.
- Check the continuity between the harness connector and the steering force control module harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES (Present error)
Check CAN system type decision again.
YES (Past error)
Error was detected in the main line between the ADAS control unit and the steering force control module.
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connector M22 and the steering force control module.
