Diagnosis Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Infiniti Q50. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the 12V battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector B18
- Harness connector M19
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- HPCM
- Harness connectors B18 and M19
- Check the continuity between the HPCM harness connector and the harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Replace the body harness.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the A/C auto amp. harness connector.
- Check the continuity between the harness connector and the A/C auto amp. harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES (Present error)
Check CAN system type decision again.
YES (Past error)
Error was detected in the main line between the HPCM and the A/C auto amp.
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connector M19 and the A/C auto amp. harness connector.
