Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect 12V battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector B39 and fuse block (J/B) side connector
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the fuse block (J/B) harness connector M133 and B39.
- Check the continuity between the fuse block (J/B) terminals.
Fuse block (J/B) Continuity Terminal No. Terminal No. 23C 3H Existed 5C 8H Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Replace the fuse block (J/B).
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the HPCM harness connector.
- Check the continuity between the fuse block (J/B) harness connector and the HPCM harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES (Present error)
Check CAN system type decision again.
YES (Past error)
Error was detected in the main line between the data link connector and the HPCM.
NO
Replace the body harness.
