Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK HAZARD WARNING LAMP OPERATION

    Check hazard warning lamp operation with hazard switch.

    Is the operation normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    Perform trouble diagnosis for the hazard warning lamp. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

  2. CHECK HAZARD REQUEST SIGNAL CIRCUIT

    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect the BCM connector and hazard warning lamp switch connector.
    3. Check the continuity between the BCM connector and the ground.
    BCM - Continuity
    Connector Terminal
    M43 30 Ground Not existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning harness or connector.

    NO 

    Replace the BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
