Aluminum Wheel

  1. Check tires for wear and improper inflation.
  2. Check wheels for deformation, cracks and other damage. If deformed, remove wheel and check wheel runout.
    1. Remove tire from aluminum wheel and mount on a tire balance machine.
    2. Set dial indicator as shown in the figure.

    3. Check runout, if the axial runout MARU-A-W or radial runout MARU-B-W exceeds the limit, replace aluminum wheel.
      Limit  
      Axial runout MARU-A-W : Refer to ROAD WHEEL .
      Radial runout MARU-B-W : Refer to ROAD WHEEL .
