Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect trunk lid lock assembly connector.
- Check signal between trunk lid lock assembly harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.
(+) (-) Signal
(Reference value)Trunk lid lock assembly Connector Terminal T53 1 Ground
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM connector and trunk lid lock assembly connector.
BCM Trunk lid lock assembly Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M15 97 T53 1 Existed - Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.
BCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M15 97 Not existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between trunk lid lock assembly connector and ground.
Trunk lid lock assembly Ground Continuity Connector Terminal T53 2 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Replace trunk lid lock assembly.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
INSPECTION END
