Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK FUSE
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).
Location Fuse No. Capacity Fuse and fusible link block 1 #216 5A #214 10A #220 10A #213 15A #212 15A
Are the fuses blown (open)?
YES
Replace the fuse. [Check the power supply if fuse is blowing again.]
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK ECM GROUND CIRCUIT
- Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- Check the continuity between ECM harness connector and ground.
+ - Continuity ECM Connector Terminal E48 98 Ground Existed 100 102
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK ECM POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between ECM harness connector and ground.
+ - Voltage ECM Connector Terminal E48 97 Ground Battery voltage 99 101 112
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END
NO
GO TO STEP 4 .
- CHECK ECM POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- Disconnect fuse and fusible link block 1 harness connector.
- Check the continuity between ECM harness connector and "fuse and fusible link block 1" harness connector.
+ - Continuity ECM Fuse and fusible link block 1 Connector Terminal Connector Terminal E48 97 E55 11 Existed 99 101 112 13 - Also check harness for short to ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK MOTOR RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT
- Check the continuity between ECM harness connector and "fuse and fusible link block 1" harness connector.
+ - Continuity ECM Fuse and fusible link block 1 Connector Terminal Connector Terminal E48 123 E65 45 Existed - Also check harness for short to ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Perform trouble diagnosis for power supply circuit. Refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
NO
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- Check the continuity between ECM harness connector and "fuse and fusible link block 1" harness connector.
