Diagnosis Procedure

P2065 - 1A, P2065 - 1B

1. CHECK POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE OF BCM
   
   

   Check power supply and ground circuit of BCM. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 2  .

   NO 

   Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

2. CHECK FUEL GAUGE
   
   
   1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
   2. Fully fill the fuel tank.
   3. Disconnect the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump harness connector.
   4. Check the resistance between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump.

      Actual value

      : 48 Ω

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 3  .

   NO 

   Replace fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump or fuel tank assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT AND FUEL PUMP CIRCUIT
   
   
   1. Disconnect the BCM harness connector.
   2. Check the continuity between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump harness connector and BCM harness connector.

   3. Check the continuity between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump harness connector and ground.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   Replace fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump or fuel tank assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   NO 

   Repair harness or connector.
