Diagnostic Test

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BCM and rear combination lamp RH (body side) connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

   BCM		Ground	Continuity

   M28	69		Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 2  .

NO 

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and rear combination lamp RH (body side) harness connector.

2. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 3  .

NO 

Repair or replace harness.

1. Connect BCM and rear combination lamp RH (body side) connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM" using CONSULT.
4. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .

Is DTC detected?

YES 

GO TO STEP 4  .

NO 

INSPECTION END

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Replace rear combination lamp RH (body side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM" using CONSULT.
5. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .

Is DTC detected?

YES 

Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

INSPECTION END
