Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK FUSE
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).
Unit Location Fuse No. Capacity Headlamp control unit Fuse and fusible link block 1 209 15A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES
Replace the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).
NO
GO TO STEP 2.
- CHECK HEADLAMP CONTROL UNIT RH POWER SUPPLY
Check voltage between front combination lamp RH harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage
(Approx.)Front combination lamp RH Connector Terminal E116 4 Ground 13.6 V Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK HEADLAMP CONTROL UNIT RH GROUND CIRCUIT
- Disconnect front combination lamp RH connector.
- Check continuity between front combination lamp RH harness connector and ground.
Front combination lamp RH Ground Continuity Connector Terminal E116 5 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- ERASE DTC
- Connect front combination lamp RH connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "H/L control module RH" using CONSULT.
- Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .
Is DTC detected?
YES
Replace front combination lamp RH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
INSPECTION END
