Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn Ignition Switch OFF.
2. Check 5 A fuse, [No. 4, located in fuse block (J/B)].

Is the fuse blown (open)?

YES 

Replace the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

NO 

GO TO STEP 2  .

1. Disconnect Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer connector.
2. Check voltage between Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer harness connector and ground.

   E45	1	Ground	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 3  .

NO 

Repair or replace harness.

1. Disconnect BCM connector.
2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer harness connector.

   BCM		Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer		Continuity
   Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
   M14	64	E45	3	Existed

3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

   BCM		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   M14	64		Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 4  .

NO 

Repair or replace harness.

Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

Replace Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer.
