Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 1
- Turn Ignition Switch ON.
- Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.
(+) (-) Condition Signal
(Reference Value)BCM Connector Terminal M16 114, 115 Ground When pressing the door request switch (passenger side) with all doors are locked and Ignition Switch ON When Intelligent Key is not in the antenna detection area When Intelligent Key is in the antenna detection area
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA CIRCUIT
- Turn Ignition Switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM connector and One Touch Unlock Sensor Assembly (Passenger Side) connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and One Touch Unlock Sensor Assembly (Passenger Side) harness connector.
BCM One Touch Unlock Sensor Assembly (Passenger Side) Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M16 114 D22 1 Existed 115 4 - Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
BCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M16 114 Not existed 115
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 2
- Replace outside handle grip RH. (New antenna or other antenna)
- Connect BCM connector and One Touch Unlock Sensor Assembly (Passenger Side) connector.
- Turn Ignition Switch ON.
- Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.

(Reference Value)BCM Connector Terminal M16 114, 115 Ground When pressing the door request switch (passenger side) with all doors are locked and Ignition Switch ON When Intelligent Key is not in the antenna detection area When Intelligent Key is in the antenna detection area
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace outside handle grip RH.
NO
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
