DTC Confirmation Procedure

- PRECONDITIONING
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
GO TO STEP 2.
- CHECK DTC DETECTION
- Turn ignition switch ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.
- Perform "All DTC Reading".
Is "U1002" and/or UXXXX detected?
YES-1
Other than "MOTOR CONTROL" detects UXXXX, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC UXXXX.
YES-2
Only "MOTOR CONTROL" detects U1002. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
NO-1
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
NO-2
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
