Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK RECLINING SWITCH SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect power seat switch connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between power seat switch harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) Power seat switch Connector Terminals B603 9 Ground 9 - 16 25 Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK RECLINING SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit connector.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and power seat switch harness connector.
Driver seat control unit Power seat switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B601 9 B603 9 Existed 25 25 - Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Driver seat control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B601 9 Not existed 25
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connector.
- CHECK RECLINING SWITCH
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Replace power seat switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
INSPECTION END
