Diagnostic Test

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).

   Unit	Location	Fuse No.	Capacity
   Front fog lamp	IPDME/R	#57	15 A

Is the fuse blown (open)?

YES 

Replace the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

NO 

GO TO STEP 2  .

With CONSULT

1. Disconnect front fog lamp connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Select "EXTERNAL LAMPS" in "Active Test" mode of "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT.
4. With operating the test items, check the voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 3  .

NO 

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
3. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and front fog lamp harness connector.

   IPDM E/R			Front fog lamp		Continuity

   RH	E125	78	E16	1	Existed
   LH		79	E15

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 4  .

NO 

Repair or replace harness.

Check continuity between front fog lamp harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

Replace front fog lamp. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

Repair or replace harness.
