Detection items Hybrid system operation and vehicle behavior
Engine If engine fuel is cut off or ECM CAN communication are abnormal The engine is stopped and the vehicle is driven by the traction motor alone.
If ECM stopped control of the electric throttle control actuator The drive force is controlled to a creep force, regardless of the amount the accelerator pedal is depressed.
If ECM is limiting speed due to fuel cut-off Engine stop control is prohibited and the vehicle is driven by the engine alone with a limit on the engine speed. For this reason, acceleration performance decreases.
