Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect malfunctioning door switch connector.
- Check signal between malfunctioning door switch harness connector and ground using an oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES-1
Back door: GO TO STEP 3 .
YES-2
Other doors: GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and door switch harness connector.
BCM Door switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M123 150 B16 (Driver side) 2 Existed 124 B216 (Passenger side) M121 69 B23 (Rear LH) 68 B223 (Rear RH) - Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
BCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M123 150 (Driver side) Not existed 124 (Passenger side) M121 69 (Rear LH) 68 (Rear RH)
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK BACK DOOR SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between back door lock assembly (back door switch) harness connector and ground.
Back door lock assembly (back door switch) Ground Continuity Connector Terminal D122 8 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Replace malfunctioning door switch.
- Door switch: Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
INSPECTION END
