Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DCA SYSTEM SETTING

    1. Start the engine.
    2. Check that the DCA system setting can be turned ON/OFF in the combination meter information display using the steering switch.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Inspection End.

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2. 

  2. CHECK STEERING SWITCH CIRCUIT

    Check the steering switch. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3. 

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connector.

  3. CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE

    Check the steering switch resistance. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace combination meter. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Replace steering switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
