Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY

    If DTC P31F7, P31F8, P31FB, P31FC or P31FD is displayed with DTC UXXXX, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for UXXXX.

    Is applicable DTC detected?

    YES 

    Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC INDEX .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

    1. Erase DTC.
    2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .

    Is DTC P31F7, P31F8, P31FB, P31FC or P31FD detected again?

    YES 

    Replace HPCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    INSPECTION END
