Detection items Hybrid system operation and vehicle behavior
Li-ion battery If there is a Li-ion battery malfunction, or if CAN communication with the Li-ion battery controller computing unit and Li-ion battery controller are abnormal
  • The hybrid system is stopped.
  • Driving is not possible even when the accelerator pedal is depressed.
If the Li-ion battery power usage is restricted by the Li-ion battery controller Engine stop control is prohibited, and the vehicle is driven by the engine alone. As a result, acceleration performance decreases and the shifting shock becomes larger.
