Detection items Hybrid system operation and vehicle behavior
Traction motor inverter If the CAN communication with the traction motor inverter computing unit or traction motor inverter are abnormal
  • The hybrid system is stopped.
  • Driving is not possible even when the accelerator pedal is depressed.
If the traction motor inverter stopped control of the traction motor Engine stop control is prohibited, and the vehicle is driven by the engine alone. As a result, acceleration performance decreases and the shifting shock becomes larger.
