DTC Confirmation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

  1. PRECONDITIONING

    If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

    1. Set the vehicle to READY.
    2. Drive the vehicle as per the following condition.
      Monitor Item Condition
      Vehicle speed More than 10 km/h (6.2 MPH)
      Selector lever position M mode (M1 range)
      CAUTION:

      Always drive the vehicle at a safe speed.

    3. Check DTC.

    Is DTC detected?

    YES 

    Proceed to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

    NO - 1 

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

    NO - 2 

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
