Front Carrier, Input Clutch, Rear Internal Gear: Disassembly

- Remove needle bearing
from front carrier assembly.
- Compress snap ring
using flat-bladed screwdrivers (A).
CAUTION:- Be careful not to scratch rear internal gear.
- Be careful not to damage snap ring.
- Remove front carrier assembly and input clutch assembly from rear internal gear.
- Remove front carrier assembly from input clutch assembly.
- Remove snap ring
from front carrier assembly.
CAUTION: Be careful not to expand snap ring excessively. - Remove O-ring
and seal rings
from input clutch assembly.
- Remove needle bearing from input clutch assembly.
- Remove snap ring from input clutch drum using a flat-bladed screwdriver.CAUTION:
- Be careful not to scratch rear input clutch drum and input clutch retaining plate.
- Be careful not to damage snap ring.
- Remove input clutch component part (drive plates, driven plates, retaining plate and dish plate) from input clutch drum.
