Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Shift the selector lever to "P" position.
  2. Remove nut (SYMBOL ) and remove the control rod SYMBOL from the lower lever of A/T shift selector assembly.

  3. Remove nut (SYMBOL ) and remove the manual lever SYMBOL (with control rod) from transmission assembly.

    CAUTION: When loosening manual lever mounting nut, set manual lever in "N" position and fix manual lever to prevent it from moving.

  4. Remove snap pin, control rod, conical washer, plain washers, collar, and insulator from manual lever.
