Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK HEAT SENSOR SIGNAL

    Check voltage between A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground.

    (+) (-) Condition Voltage
    (Approx.)
    A/C auto amp.
    Connector Terminal
    M89 45 Ground Ignition switch OFF 0 V
    ON 5 V

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK HEAT SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect A/C auto amp. connector and seat cushion heater connector.
    3. Check continuity between A/C auto amp. harness connector and seat cushion heater harness connector.
      A/C auto amp. Seat cushion heater Continuity
      Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
      M89 45 B619 46 Existed
    4. Check continuity between A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground.
      A/C auto amp. Ground Continuity
      Connector Terminal
      M89 45 Not existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace seat cushion trim. Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness.
