Diagnostic Test
- CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP BULB
Check the applicable license plate lamp bulb.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Replace bulb. Refer to REPLACEMENT .
- CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and trunk lid opener request switch assembly connector.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and trunk lid opener request switch assembly harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between trunk lid opener request switch harness connector and ground.
License plate lamp - Continuity Connector Terminal T47 3 Ground Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Check corresponding license plate lamp bulb socket and harness. Repair or replace if necessary.
NO
Repair or replace harness.
