Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK AWD SOLENOID CIRCUIT (1)
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect AWD control unit harness connector.
- Check the continuity between AWD control unit harness connector and the ground.
AWD control unit - Continuity Connector Terminal B67 1 Ground Not existed 2
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK AWD SOLENOID
- Disconnect AWD solenoid harness connector.
- Check the continuity between AWD solenoid connector and the ground.
AWD solenoid - Continuity Terminal 1 Ground Not existed 2
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
AWD solenoid is malfunctioning. Replace electric controlled coupling. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK AWD SOLENOID CIRCUIT
Check the continuity between AWD control unit harness connector and the ground.
AWD control unit - Continuity Connector Terminal B67 1 Ground Not existed 2 Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace damaged parts.
- CHECK TERMINALS AND HARNESS CONNECTORS
- Check AWD control unit pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
- Check AWD solenoid pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
After connecting each harness connector, perform DTC confirmation procedure again. When DTC "C1205" is detected, replace AWD control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace damaged parts.
