Component Function Check

CHECK FUNCTION

Select "TILT PULSE" in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT.

Check tilt sensor signal under the following conditions.

Monitor item	Condition		Value
TILT PULSE	Steering column	Operate (upward)	Change (decrease)
		Operate (downward)	Change (increase)
		Release	No change

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
